Writing It Real Magazine
From its inception, Writing It Real magazine has offered subscribers a new in-depth article each week in categories, including The Working Writer, Instructional Exercises, From Our Correspondents, Revision Diary, Writing Makes a Difference and Reading for Writing. The articles include discussions of authors' published work for learning about the craft, interviews with people for whom writing made a difference, articles about the craft with exercises for generating new writing, and examples of revisions from work-in-progress to finished essays and poems. Sheila Bender's goal is keeping writers at every level in the loop with encouraging, in-depth writing instruction for inventing and polishing material as well as cultivating a love of journal writing as a source of inspiration and new material. Each article has a "printable version" for easy downloading so you can take your writing inspiration with you.
$30 a year entitles subscribers to a new article each week, access to over six years of weekly archived articles, and a $30 discount on Writing It Real online seminars. Subscribers may post comments and questions on Sheila’s blog to announce their publication and writing news and to share their opinions on the subjects of Writing It Real articles and questions they raise. In addition, subscribers can create posts of their own about the writing life.
